As the parent of children in both the toddler and pre-school programs at Sunshine Acres, I cannot sing the school's praises enough! My children are both thriving in their respective programs and growing intellectually and emotionally by leaps and bounds. The school environment is nurturing, caring and challenging to each child. There is definitely a feeling that Sunshine Acres operates as a family in that children, teachers, and parents alike have responsibilities to each other and to the school as a whole. My children have responsibilities in their classrooms and these carry over to our home. In addition to providing an excellent early education experience in core areas like reading, math, and life skills, Sunshine Acres also offers wonderful extracurricular activities that encourage growth and expose the students to so many aspects of the world at large. The summer art program is without equal - the work that the children presented at the end of term art show was absolutely incredible. Sunshine Acres is a special place, where children are encouraged to work to their strengths and to develop new ones. Staff and faculty are all approachable and truly know and care about my children.

Our son is headed to Kindergarten and he is very excited about this move. We have appreciated you and the impact this school has had in our son's growth and early learning. My son transferred from another child care center and he loved Sunshine Acres from the first day. He attended 3 days a week and loved the hands-on learning activities. In fact, his teachers would have to remind him to take a snack break because learning was so much fun that he didn't want to stop. He was always eager to share his daily learning experiences with us when he got home. I am amazed at the level of math, reading, and geography skills he learned and how he will have a definite advantage over his classmates this year in public school kindergarten because of the education at Sunshine Acres. At Sunshine Acres, families can be confident that their children are well cared for so they don't have to worry about them while at work. The safety and happiness of the children are their main priority. The teachers and staff are very caring and friendly and dedicated to providing a loving environment for the children. I would recommend Sunshine Acres to anyone!
